KOCKEN Energy is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality, health, safety and the environment.

At KOCKEN, we believe that quality must be the result of dedication and skillful execution; it is not something that is controlled by inspection. The men and women at KOCKEN take pride in their work and manufacture the highest quality products. It is a choice they make every day.

Our culture of quality is backed by stringent adherence to international regulations. KOCKEN fabricates, assembles and tests in accordance with all of the applicable internationally recognized codes and standards including ASME, API, GPSA, CWB and AWS. Additionally, KOCKEN’s quality system is monitored and certified ISO 9001:2015.

Our corporate management is committed to providing a safe and healthy place of work throughout all of KOCKEN’s facilities, offices and work sites. We make every effort to eliminate adverse environmental effects from KOCKEN activities.

We promote the highest standards in health, safety, and environmental preservation and protection by establishing, implementing and maintaining an HSE Management System that includes targets and standards for HSE Performance, HSE Educational and motivational incentives, and assessments and accountability for achievement of those targets and standards.

To meet this commitment, KOCKEN abides by the following principles:

  • Provide equipment that meets the highest standards for safety and operation while placing the minimum burden on the environment.
  • Place the highest priority on the health and safety of personnel and on the preservation and protection of the environment.
  • Plan and perform work in accordance with the HSE Management System.
  • Hold employees, including those of vendors and subcontractors, responsible for their own HSE and that of their colleagues.
  • Ensure that all personnel are trained in HSE.
  • Review, monitor and measure HSE performance for continual improvement.
  • Provide full cooperation to clients, statutory authorities and local communities.
  • Comply with and maintain certification with the relevant statutory authorities including Worksafe New Brunswick, New Brunswick Construction Safety Association (NBCSA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and any authorities in the jurisdictions where our equipment is being installed.
